What is miscarriage? IT is the loss of a pregnancy in the first 20 weeks. Most miscarriages happen before 12 weeks. It happens most in the first trimester. The first sign is vaginal spotting or bleeding. And if you noticed it, you must call your health care provider right away because it is uncommon to spot or bleed.
If your health care provider suspects a miscarriage, she will suggest an ultrasound in order to know what is going on in your uterus. Likewise, there is also a possibility that she will order you to have a blood test.
